Fitflops for Comfy Feet

          

Weeks before school opens again made me one busy mom looking and shopping for Rem's school stuffs. Everything went smoothly until my feet really hurt and felt tired. I was wearing my super flat thong sandals then, and made me think that my too flat footwear may not be perfect for long walks. So I made a little bit of research about the proper heel height and I was correct. When we're wearing the correct heel height our feet shouldn't hurt, but, it differs for each person. Some is okay with super flat footwears, while others are not.  But, having felt sure about the effect of the flat sandals, I asked a friend who's got a pair of Fitflop (slippers) if it's really comfy, and she replied saying, "yes, you will naturally like the footwear". That same day, I bought this black sandals, thankfully, it was on sale. Now, I've already used it going around the mall and a lot of long walks, and I now agree on what my friend told me. It's  lightweight, stylish and comfy...I am now falling for this footwear. I might get the non-strappy one in the future. Its cost is just right because I did not regret a bit the moment I used it. So, I say, it's definitely Fitflops for comfy feet!

My Must-have Footwear

I don’t really consider myself being so much into footwear. A few pair would be fine, but thong sandals are considered a must-have. Being in a tropical country, I find such footwear comfy and practical. At the moment, I’ve got 2 pairs of the said style in brown and in black. But, I am featuring my black one from Charles & Keith.

This isn’t made of genuine leather, but I love its quality and how much it cost. If my memory serves me right, I got this for less than P2000, and have been using this for several months now. For me, it’s really all about taking care of it in order for it to last. Once I need a new one, I’d go and check for the same brand again.

Barbie Fashion at Jahzeel's 7th Birthday

How time flies…My seven year old daughter has her own fashion ideas already. But, thankfully, she still considers me her consultant, and the truth is, I am glad that she has a mind of her own, yet thinks of me that I am still her best fashion critic, hahah! Last month we attended a Barbie themed party of one of her classmates and another one of the same theme again last Sunday. This time, it was for Jahzeel’s 7^th birthday.  Rem was so excited weeks before the event, and she had been asking for a Barbie boots. Thanks God, there was a sale of Barbie items in one of the shops at the Gateway Mall and got her dream shoe.

The kids had a mini fashion show at Jahzeel’s birthday, and Rem had prepared for it. She had me curl her hair up and we discussed on what she should wear. Tarrrran, here she is:

Of course, I also joined in the picture. By the way, I was the party host, so I opted to wear pink inspired top. I was the Mommy version of Barbie, hahah! Seriously, I wanted to be kiddie friendly by dressing up girl’s favorite color – pink. Hmmm, I might have this party-hosting career soon. J This was a party that we, especially Rem, enjoyed so much – as always. Happy Birthday, Jahz! Stay as nice and bestfriends forever with Rem. God bless you always.

Thong Sandals for Comfort

I so love shoes or footwear, too. And same as my love for bags and purses, I also noticed my love for it when I used to belong to the corporate world and not provided with office uniform. Now that I’m just a stay-at-home mom, my love for these things has never faded. It just changed in style, but I still want to have few pieces of these.

Eversince I had a pair of thong sandals, I’ve already fallen for it, which means, I always have a pair or two of this style. As of this writing, I have a black and brown pairs. Since I’m no longer obliged to wear formal shoes for work, and thongs are just so comfy and cool especially when having long walks.

Wedge Lover

Other people are into shoes, that if you check their houses, the most numbered of fashion items he/she got would be shoes. In my case, if only I have much money, that word would not be applicable hahah. I would have everything in equal numbers. How's that? Wow, how good it is to dream, and who knows someday, it becomes a reality.

I would say that I also have few pairs of shoes or footwear, but there is something about the wedge that sort of magnetize me. I just find it so sexy. I only have a pair of wedge, and I just love it. I got it from Celine for almost P1000.00 only. But who wouldn't think that it only costs this if you see it.

What's so good about wedges is that, they can be worn whether you're wearing long or short pants, long and mini-skirts, and even on a dress. One has just to pick the right color to fit in the occasion. It just has to be on perfect fit in order to reach that fab look. There's a warning though: be sure that you will be walking on a smooth place, because if you get to step something that would make the heel uneven could result in an accident.

Perhaps you understand now why I find these really sexy. So, if you don't have even just a pair yet, I suggest you should own one. This is just a perfect shoe when going out on a date.:-)
