Review: Moringa-O Herbal Facial Toner

I was in college when I started to use facial toner. I don’t know who told me about it, but, probably it was an influence by my older sisters on me. I’ve been into different brands  since then, this Moringa-O may be the fourth one, and I think, I’m gonna stick to this for life. How did I find this? I was particularly looking for a facial toner that is alcohol-free, and I was so glad, that that’s what this is. Since alcohol has a tendency of drying one’s skin, I opted not to use alcohol-containing stuff for my face. I still prefer my skin having it’s regular tone, not- so-dry, but normal or somewhere in between being oily and normal. Moringa-O facial toner has gluta-C content, good for dry and sensitive skin – I have a very sensitive skin, so, since this one did not give me any allergic reaction from day one, that alone give me that thumbs up. With its Gluta-C content, I am not so sure if it really whitens my skin, but, I just love my facial skin’s texture as of the moment. I particularly like this product’s smell, which is mild. It doesn’t sting, and does not give me worries of being too harsh on my skin, because, of its mildness.  It also says, helps in: cleanisng, oil control,  pore minimizing, anti-bacterial, anti-acne, moisturizing dry skin, and skin lightening. I think, the product is just being true to its purpose. This is my second bottle already, and I am happy about this great find of mine.

Review: Watson's Round Cotton Puffs

When it comes to cleaning my face from make-up, I usually use cotton puffs for it. I use an oil make-up remover, then, rub the puff/s all over my face and neck. I’ve got mine from Watson’s and it’s not as good as the previous one I used. 'Forgot the brand though, so, I got this instead, thinking that it's good. But, I get a bit frustrated everytime I use it because it's not absorbent  at all, and it easily gets creases once I rub it on my face. I am just consuming this, but will never buy the same thing again. I’d rather use cotton balls or try another brand of cotton puffs.

Cetaphil: My Gentle Facial Cleanser

I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for almost 4-years now, but being just home most of the time, doesn’t mean I’d give up about taking care of myself, particularly my face. For someone like me who loves putting on make-up, a great facial cleanser should be part of my daily facial care routine.

Since I’m not gifted with a good skin, but a sensitive one, I had to look for a facial cleanser that is notharsh on my skin. I heard from a friend who’s a Pediatrician who uses nothing but Cetaphil as her facial cleanser and I tried it myself, too. For a first-timer, I got the biggest bottle already. I just depended on my gut-feel that it will work well on me since it says: Gentle Skin Cleanser (For all skin types). Thanks, heavens, it works. I love its texture for it’s non-sticky. And here’s the catch, it can be used without needing water. It has to be applied on the face, and gently wipe it with a soft cloth or cotton. Perfect for those late nights facial cleansing, right? My first bottle is almost consumed, and I’m already off to my next one...How about you, what’s your facial cleanser? If you want to try something that’s truly gentle, Cetaphil would be best. I would also love to try their moisturizer and will post about it again once I get to try it.
