This is another wise-buy since this was on sale at 50% off the original price. Got it at SM Aura over the weekend. And her shoe, I got this last December from Marikina Market. I like how the summer-feel her dress gives. I don't really spend too much on her clothes and footwear all the time. Fortunately, Rem is so easy to dress up because of her size and complexion.

Rem's Moving Up Attire
And summer vacation has finally began. Rem is so happy about it, because, she has a lot of time to play during this season. Last March 17, 2014, was their Moving Up Day. At St. Bridget School, it's not as festive or as busy compared to how other schools do it. But, even if that's the way it is, I still make sure she is well-dressed. Look at what I've got for her:

Barbie Fashion at Jahzeel's 7th Birthday
How time flies…My seven year old daughter has her own
fashion ideas already. But, thankfully, she still considers me her consultant, and the truth is, I am glad that she has a mind of her own, yet thinks of me
that I am still her best fashion critic, hahah! Last month we attended a
Barbie themed party of one of her classmates
and another one of the same theme again last Sunday. This time, it was for Jahzeel’s 7th
birthday. Rem was so excited weeks
before the event, and she had been asking for a Barbie boots. Thanks God, there was a sale of Barbie
items in one of the shops at the Gateway Mall and got her dream shoe.
Here are few photos of her wearing the shoes:
The kids had a mini fashion show at Jahzeel’s birthday, and Rem had prepared for it. She had me curl her hair up and we discussed on what she should wear. Tarrrran, here she is:![]() |
Of course, I also joined in the picture. By the way, I was
the party host, so I opted to wear pink inspired top. I was the Mommy version
of Barbie, hahah! Seriously, I wanted to be kiddie friendly by
dressing up girl’s favorite color – pink. Hmmm, I might have this party-hosting
career soon. J
This was a party that we, especially Rem, enjoyed so much – as always. Happy
Birthday, Jahz! Stay as nice and bestfriends forever with Rem. God bless you
always.

Rem's Halloween Fashion
If you’ll ask my daughter which is more exciting for her between Christmastime and Halloween, she’ll choose the latter. And that’s because
of the thrill of having to wear costumes she’d like to wear for Tricks or Treats. She would always get a new costume each year, but we (and
hubby) don’t have a choice but to give in to her because we can see how
much fun she has every time.
This year, she joined two Halloween Tricks or Treats. One at
the Shangri-la Plaza mall and the other was in our place (Bali Oasis, Pasig).
For the one at the Shangri-la, she wore her Cleopatra costume or the Egyptian
Princess.
At home, she wore the fairy Musa look of Winx Club. For
this, I only had to buy her top as requested. This is all the way she liked it,
and I am so proud of her for that. She’s not after winning the best costume,
but, just to wear what she wants and to enjoy getting those goodies.I think we’ll be joining every year until she reach 12
years old.

Disney Princesses on Denisse's 7th Birthday
I’ve heard that a child’s 7th birthday has to be celebrated with a party or something that the birthday girl wants if resources are available. Rem and I have attended two 7th birthdays already among her friends, and she had been asked to be one of the princesses on both as both parties had Disney Princesses as their themes.Last June 12 was her cousin Denisse’s 7th birthday and her mom had been so excited preparing a party for her. Denisse wanted to wear a Snow White costume, so her mom decided to surprise her by having the other Princesses present. Good thing, her mommy friends and relatives were all supportive of her plan and the surprise happened which made the birthday girl very happy.

Dora the Mermaid

Then and Now
For Rem who initially wore her Ariel costume on her 4th birthday (August 2009), I decided to cut the mermaid’s tail so it would fit. My inspiration was her auntie Loida’s gift (Dora the Mermaid doll) for her when she was only three. You just press a button and the tail could turn into a mini-skirt. Let’s just think that she has finally met her Prince Charming so she’s got her human legs already (smiley). This Dora mermaid doll used to have long hair, but she just cut it for them to be look-alike according to her.

The Disney Princesses
So I said, we’ve already been able to enjoy the costume’s worth as it had already been worn twice. The other Princesses present were Cinderella, Aurora and Snow White - the birthday girl. The party was fun, in fact, these princesses (with the others kids) danced and participated on the other parts of the program. I’m sure it was a celebration truly memorable especially for Denisse. With that, a salute to cousin, Melanie for a job well done, and to the others (family) who helped her pull it through. Happy Birthday again, Denisse and God bless you always.

Cute Finds for my Little Girl
I’m sure most of us have been to Greenhills Shopping Center to shop, and I’m sure, you too, could say that it’s practical to shop there. Don't forget the art of haggling and checking for the best priced items, of course. I usually go there every December when I need to shop more than usual for our clothes and few for gift-giving. Last month, my dear friend, Glenda, invited us over for lunch in Greenhills and we enjoyed looking and eventually shopping for great finds there. I am just so happy with what I’ve got for Rem.

I find these really cute, with such a cute price of P250.00 only:)
The best time to go there is as early as 9:00 o’clock in the morning when it’s not as crowded with the many shoppers yet, but, for someone like me who loves going around, crowded or not, any time would be perfect (LOL). Of course, it feels better when you’re with someone because you don’t notice the time and shopping becomes a fun way to burn calories and pockets:-)
